Book review of What Can You Do with an Elephant House? by Gissell Teodoro

What can you do with an elephant house? This is what two students, Miriam Gaynor and Aleshia Goodwin, try to figure out while working on a project for school. What Can You Do with an Elephant House? is the title of the book and also the name of the project that the teacher assigns to the girls. The girls noticed an elephant house at their local zoo, but the elephant house was empty. The girls went to the zoo so they could get information and ideas. The girls create a graphic bar to decide the different types of ideas that they could do with an elephant house. So they started to clean the elephant house and then they invited all the people to the elephant house. The people started to see all the pictures that they drew and all the fossils that they found in the zoo. After they did their work of showing the elephant house, all of the people were happy for all the hard work of the two girls. I kind of liked this book because it has a lot of pictures and it teaches how two girls decide to work together for a project. One thing I did not like about this book was that there were too many words. I would recommend this book to students needing to work with others in order to complete a project.
