In Cirque du Freak Vampire Mountain by Darren Shan, Darren and Evra set out on a deadly adventure to Vampire Mountain. Later on, when Darren and Evra are walking, Darren falls off of vampire mountain. Mr.Crepsley grabs Darren and hikes along with him and Evra to Mr.Crepsley's hometown.
